Emily Beattie is an artist who collaboratively designs body based experiences for stage, site, and film. She explores relationships between souls, space, time, and tech in her work.

Emily's experimental works for stage, screen and site have been supported by REDCAT, Brown University, Pieter Performance Space, Boston Cyberarts Festival, World Arts Music/Crash Arts, Green Street Studios, Somerville Arts Council, Gloucester New Arts Festival, Design Boston, ART’s Oberon Theater, Support Women Artists Now Day Inc., Kyoto Renku Festival 2011 and Rhodopi International Theater Lab.

As a performer, Emily has been honored join the works of David Rousseve, Lionel Popkin, Stephan Koplowitz, Edisa Weeks, Donald Byrd, Sara Rudner, Jennifer Monson, Simone Forti, and Lionel Popkin.

Emily has taught masterclasses and workshops nationally and internationally since 2003. She has served on faculty at Stony Brook University, Brown University, UCLA, Walnut Hill School for the Arts, and the Boston Ballet Community.
