Hearth

I created a series of dance films presented by the Emma Clark Library.

Creativity and gestures around domestic objects used by colonial women in Setauket inspired this project. I was attracted to work with the Three Village Historical Society as a group of collaboratorsbecause of their non-linear approach to history- a perfect complement to how I wanted to mix reality and creativity in this work.

An excerpt of a duet version with films was also performed.
